Mom and Vet’s Day

This morning I would like to thank a very special lady for her service, not as a veteran, but as my mom. She took it upon her herself to answer the call of duty as a mother and saved this country from 2 little savages and retrained them to be civilized contributors to society. Happy Birthday Mom! It is through her influence that I have become the aspiring yet not entirely successful writer I am today. OK, that’s a joke, but honestly I have the perfect storm of handsome good looks, nerdiness and arthritic knees from my father and the comedic and social skills from my dear mom. Without my mom I would just be destined to be a lab coat model.

Ah, yeah! Hello Ladies, do you want me to check your blood pressure.

Pssst, just to let you know mom, I lost track of your age at 36 so enjoy your 36th birthday and have a good day.
